It all began in 1930 when Fred Hudson Senior purchased a Ford AA truck and an SVO truck to help make deliveries from his general store which provided the people of Connelly Springs, NC with cattle feed, household goods, hardware, and yes, you guessed it, furniture.
These vehicles turned out to be a savvy investment for the store which subsequently became known across North Carolina for its high quality goods and outstanding customer service.
